These are just some more lovely deer photos. The other two guys are the people who let me go hunting with them. The one in the hoodie is my friend Lincoln and the other person is his dad Doug.
First Deer
Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I shot my first deer a few weeks ago, as you can see in the picture. He was a small buck, but that's okay because he tastes good. We have 14 inches of snow down here! We're literally trapped in our house. Our trip to St. Louis is cancelled, the parade that the band was gonna march in was cancelled, everything was cancelled! Hopefully the snow will melt soon so we can get our Christmas tree on sunday. That's all I have for now.

First of all Beccah how could you not know I liked the Cardinals?! By the way they won the world series! I got straight A's first quarter, yeah! Marching band is about over, sadly. Basketball pep band and concert band starts soon though. I can't wait till baseball season. Well that is all I have to write.

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while! I just keep forgetting. I've been doing a lot with marching band this year. Our football team has done really good so far. We had homecoming the other day and our team won 46 to 21. No, I didn't go to homecoming dance, I decided to go camping in the freezing cold. Pretty smart isn't it? Well anyways the camping trip was good, except I lost my sunglasses. Spanish class is going well and so is the rest of my classes at school. I have quite a few quizzes and tests coming up this week though, so wish me luck. I am still anxiously awaiting the release of the Eragon Game and the movie in December. Well I got to go watch the Cardinals game. GO CARDINALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Captian's Log, Star Date-91806: Okay I don't really know what a star date is, but anyways. I just got back from Nick's first soccer game. They were demolished unfortunately. The other team was about 4 times bigger than them. It was pretty bad. I also went to Spanish food night for spanish club. We went to a Mexican restaurant and I ordered my quesadilla in Spanish. Then right after that I went to Nick's soccer game. Which I already told you the outcome of. I also froze my butt off. It was like 38 degrees or something. I don't know but it was cold. Now I'm home typing this and thinking about studying for my physics quiz. Well, I guess I better go do that.

Mizzou Band Day
Last weekend I went to a Mizzou football game with my entire band. We got to play during the half time show of the game which was awesome. We had a real good time watching the game and Mizzou kicked Mississippi's butt. Our whole band had fun yelling the opposite of the Mississippi cheerleaders. I got to hang out with my friends and mess around. Over all it was an unforgettable day.

I've survived my first 2 weeks of highschool!!! Ok it isn't that bad. I really enjoy it. I aced my Spanish quiz today and my history test. I really like Spanish, I even joined Spanish club. In Spanish club you get to go to Mexican restaurants every quarter or so and order in Spanish. You also get to go bowling. I can't wait for baseball to start even though it doesn't start till spring. I'm going to be pretty busy with band soon because I have to march at all of the home football games. I also get to go to the University of Missouri next week and march during one of their football games. You have to admit that's pretty cool. That's all for now.

I just started highschool 3 days ago and it's great. The first few days have been a little hectic though. Partly because we have 500 people in a school made for 300. I have some really good classes though. I have band first hour, then body conditioning, then English honors, then physics honors, and then I have lunch. After lunch I have Spanish, then American history, then Algebra 2. They're all fun, especially Spanish and algebra 2. Right now I'm playing baritone in band. I used to play trumpet but my band teacher needed some low brass instruments and she asked if I would play baritone. Baritone is kind of like a tuba but just a little different. But highschool has been great so far and I look forward to the rest of the year.

I recently went on a trip to Maryland to see my Uncle Terry, Aunt Barb, and my five cousins. We had lots of fun. We went to the zoo together and got to see the baby panda. We also went to the National Archives and saw the Declaration of Independence. On our way to Philadelphia we went and saw a really cool play called Ruth, which everyone liked. In Philidelphia we got to see Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Benjamin Franklin's post office and house, and Betsy Ross's house. When we were at Betsy Ross's house it started to rain really hard and we had to buy three dollar ponchos which looked like trashbags. We got a lot of laughs out of that. I forgot to mention that we went to the National Aquarium and Valley Forge. Beccah, Noelle, and Elaine always kept things interesting. Our last day there we got to see a movie called Zoom and we got to eat at the Stone Cold Creamery. That place has the best ice cream in the world. We played soccer a lot and we played Lord of the Rings Risk. Overall it was a great vacation and I really enjoyed spending time with my cousins (Beccah, Noelle, Elaine, Cory, Annalee) and my Uncle Terry and Aunt Barb.
